What you'll learn with me

A program built around you – your hands, your voice and your songs.

Why guitar is so much more than music

Learning an instrument shapes the brain, confidence and quality of life – at any age.

  • Cognitive boost

Reading chords, keeping rhythm and coordinating both hands trains the brain to work on several channels at once.

  • Creativity

Once you have a few chords under your fingers you can already compose, improvise and play with music.

  • Self-confidence

Playing a full song in front of people – at home, at a picnic or on stage – changes how you see yourself.

  • Memory and focus

Learning songs and sequences improves long-term memory and the ability to stay focused over time.

  • Calm and expression

Ten minutes of playing at the end of the day lowers stress and makes room for emotion – even before you sing.

  • Social connection

Guitar brings people together: singing around a table, music nights, and friends asking for 'just one more'.

How the lessons work

  1. 1

    A short intro chat

We'll talk about what you love to listen to, where you are with the guitar, and what you dream of playing.

  2. 2

We build the path through songs

We pick a first song together, and from it learn the chords, strumming and changes it requires.

  3. 3

    Practice and progress

Between lessons you practice with the tools on this site – chords, strumming and changes – and next lesson we add a new song.
