Terms of Use

1. The site and the service

This is an information and practice site: it presents Lior Sattarov's guitar lessons, offers online practice tools (chord diagrams, a strumming trainer and a chord-change trainer) and lets you contact us on WhatsApp.

The site has no registration, no user accounts and no online payment. The guitar lessons themselves are given in person, according to what you and Lior agree directly.

We may update, add or remove content and tools from the site at any time, including improvements, technical changes and version updates.

2. Lessons, fees and cancellations

Lesson terms – price, frequency, schedule, location or online lessons, and cancellation policy – are agreed directly with Lior before lessons begin. That agreement, together with these terms, forms the contract between you and the Academy.

Please notify us of any cancellation or rescheduling as early as possible via WhatsApp or phone, in line with what was agreed between you.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981.

3. Students under 18

Lessons for a student under 18 take place only with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for scheduling, payment and agreeing to these terms on the minor's behalf.

If you are under 18 and interested in lessons, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us.

4. Permitted use

The site and its practice tools are intended for personal learning and practice only.

You may not copy, distribute, sell, embed in another site or publicly display the site's content, practice tools or any part of them without prior written permission.

You may not attempt to disrupt the site, reverse-engineer it, scrape it automatically or access areas not intended for the public.

5. Intellectual property

All rights in the site and its content – code, design, texts, diagrams, images and logo – belong to the Academy or its licensors.

The chord diagrams show standard, commonly used fingerings that are not owned by anyone; the design, presentation, explanations and tips that accompany them are ours.

In lessons we learn through the songs you love. The site itself does not publish lyrics, sheet music or recordings of copyrighted works.

6. Practice tools

The chord diagrams, metronome and rhythm trainers are provided as learning aids only, as-is, and are not a substitute for a lesson with a teacher. We do our best to keep the information accurate, but errors and alternative fingerings for the same chord are possible.

Practise comfortably: keep good posture, take breaks, and stop if you feel pain in your fingers, wrist or shoulder. Keep the volume at a reasonable level when using the metronome sound.

7. Privacy and data

The site does not require registration and does not actively collect personal details from you.

The accessibility settings you choose (text size, contrast, etc.) are stored only in your browser (Local Storage) and are not sent to us. The site does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Contact is made through the WhatsApp app (by Meta), subject to its terms of use and privacy policy. The details you send us – name, phone number and message content – are used solely to reply and schedule lessons, and are not shared with third parties for marketing.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which may keep technical server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operations, on servers outside Israel.

You have the right to access, correct and delete information about you under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 1981. We will respond to such requests within 30 days at most.

8. Site availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee that the site will operate without faults or interruptions. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or reasons depending on external infrastructure providers.

9. Limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided as-is. We do not guarantee any particular result or fitness for a particular purpose.

We will not be liable for indirect or consequential damage or loss of opportunity arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. External links and services

The site includes links to external services, primarily WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy policies, and your use of them is subject to their terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes agreement to the updated version.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of the Central District shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any matter relating to these terms.
